Fast cars!

What is it with men and fast cars? Personally, I don't get it. A car is a car - it gets you from point A to point B faster then if you were walking. Thankfully, I have a hubby that isn't THAT into cars. He's all about sports - which I am too. I always get so bored around guys when they start talking about cars - which ones they think are the coolest or the fastest. One night, I was with a bunch of guys, and out of nowhere they started talking about car parts! YUCK! REALLY???? As soon as someone mentioned Ferrari parts I was out of there.

You're probably thinking this happened a while ago - like maybe when I was back in college. Sadly, no. It was within the past 2 years and the guys (or men) were well over the age of 35. If you want to bore me - talk cars!

Happy Birthday Kieran!

Today my baby turns 7! SEVEN!!! How is this possible? He's really no longer a baby - yet he seems so much younger then our older two did at 7. Maybe that's because he is our youngest? Either way, he'll always be my baby!!!!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Hope everyone is having a Happy Valentine's Day!!! We'll be spending it up at the fields, as usual. :)

The kids bathroom...

is an absolute eyesore for me. From the foul while linoleum on the floor, to the ugly sink and counter, all the way up to the putrid lighting over the mirror - I hate their bathroom! Luckily though, my parents, for Christmas, gave us a card and inside it said they'd help to pay for new tie flooring in there and that my dad will help do it as well so we don't have to pay for someone to do it. I'm so excited! The white linoleum by the bottom of the toilet is black - and it's got to be from mildew. WHO in their right mind would put cheap, white linoleum in a Florida house? STUPID!!!!! So we've decided to redo that bathroom entirely and I'm hoping to get it done over the kids spring break!

Tristan's tux...

My oldest has a tuxedo that's a size 2T from when he was in my best friends wedding at the age of 2 1/2. It's in his closet and I can't get rid of it just because it's so darn cute!

In the year 2000 my best friend got married and wanted Tristan in her wedding because he's her Godson. And he looked so adorable! We have a picture of him outside the church, in his tux, holding his Pooh bear to his face. It's one of my favorite pictures of him!!!! And I was just going through his closet the other day putting clothes in a pile for Kieran to now wear and I came upon the tux. I just can't get rid of it.

Bulls for the Cure!

I got a cool invite in my email this morning. It's for a charity event at USF this coming weekend and it looks like it could be alot of fun. I'm not sure right now if we'll be going - both Tristan and Caelie have soccer games away (over an hour away each) and then we're supposed to be going to Jax for the weekend. But, if plans fall through with Jax maybe we'll go.

The job market...

is pretty scarce these days! Too many people I know have been either laid off completely or their hours have been cut back. That sucks! And some of them were around the holidays that this happened. I can't even imagine that! The ones that did get laid off luckily had some background in banking and were able to find some banking jobs. They're not getting paid as much as they did at their old job (where they worked for over 10 years), but at least it's a job. And in today's market that's something right?

This blogs new look!

I just love it, don't you? It looks awesome!!!! I got the website off of my friends blog. The website is called The Cutest Blog on the Block and they have so many great looking backgrounds for blogs. And the best thing is they're so easy to use!!!! I just changed the look on my The Spicers blog too. I'm wishing there was a way to use these backgrounds on Wordpress blogs but I don't think there is. Anyway, thank you ladies for these wonderful designs! They're great!
